EBDTEuropean Business
Development Team

EBDT – European Business Development Team ("EBDT", "we", "us") operates the website ebdt.eu and the EBDT Member Area. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you register for the Member Area or otherwise interact with us.

1. Who we are

Data controller: Milan Klugar, se sídlem Praha - Záběhlice, Jasmínová 2885/33, 106 00, IČO 49658140, dále uváděn jako "EBDT – European Business Development Team". Contact: info@ebdt.eu.

2. What we collect

When you register for the Member Area, we collect: salutation, first name, last name, business email address, company name, country, and password (stored in hashed form). We do not knowingly collect data from consumers acting outside a business context.

3. Why we process it (legal basis)

4. Marketing consent

By checking the marketing consent box during registration, you agree that EBDT may use your business email address to send you marketing communications, including newsletters, service updates and relevant business opportunities. This consent is separate from acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and is not a condition of using core Member Area features beyond what registration itself requires. You may withdraw this consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting info@ebdt.eu. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

5. How long we keep it

We retain your account data for as long as your Member Area account is active, and for up to 5 years afterward for legitimate business and legal purposes. Marketing consent is retained as a record until withdrawn.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. hosting, email delivery) under data processing agreements, or where required by law.

7. International transfers

EBDT's website and data processing infrastructure are located within the EU. We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA. Should this change in the future, we will update this policy and ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest or withdraw consent at any time. Contact info@ebdt.eu to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Czechia: the Office for Personal Data Protection, uoou.cz).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at ebdt.eu/privacy.html.
